As a member of the nightshade family, tomatoes are probably one of the most popular foods in many countries. They are grown in different varieties with various tastes and flavors. One large potato provides around 200 mg of phosphorus, which is equivalent to 20 percent of the daily recommended intake. They are also loaded with potassium and vitamin C, which can provide many health benefits. Potatoes can be consumed fried, baked, or boiled and usually eaten as a snack or side dish.
