7Avoid Trigger Foods
Certain foods and drinks contain specific substances that may trigger a migraine attack. The list may include alcohol, aged cheese, seeds and nuts, pizza, potato chips, dried or smoked fish, organ meats, sourdough bread, pickled foods, cheese-containing crackers or bread, beans, garlic and onion, avocados, dried fruits, canned soups, chocolate, dairy products, caffeinated beverages, artificial sweeteners, sausage, hot dogs, bacon, deli meats, MSG and more. Trigger foods can vary from person to person. To find out which products may cause your migraine, you may stop eating certain foods or drinks for a few days to see whether the symptoms improve or whether you experience fewer attacks.
