8Avoid Noises and Lights
In many people with migraine, their senses are very sensitive to certain stimulants. For instance, it is estimated that light may trigger an attack in up to 90 percent of those with migraine. This is also known as photosensitivity. Similarly, sounds with certain wavelengths may enter the ears and send a signal to the brain that may lead to a migraine attack. This is known as phonosensitivity. Being exposed to bright lights or loud noises, especially excessively and in the long run, may cause symptoms of migraine or worsen the condition. Therefore, try to avoid these triggers both at work and your family. [9]
