9Wall Slides
Another range-of-movement exercise to heal an ACL tear is wall slide. It involves the bending of the knee to train your body how to bear the body weight. Start with standing away from the wall with your back leaning against the wall and your legs straight. Make sure the head of the back, butt, and shoulder blades are in contact with the wall all the time. Breathe in slowly and suck in the abdomen to engage your core muscles, which can prevent ACL re-injury. Next, bend your knees slowly to slide the back down until you feel resistance in the knees. Rise up again to the initial position to complete one set. [9]
