6Athlete’s Foot
Athlete’s foot is a condition that is often caused by dermatophytes, the same species of fungi which triggers ringworm. Instead of seeing rashes in ring shapes, you might notice itchy, peeling, or dry skin between your toes. Also, your feet would sting or burn and the sole might thicken as a callus. This condition tends to be more common in adults and teenagers, but rare in children during adolescence. Also, many studies have shown that it often occurs in males rather than females.
