7Abscess
A form of abscess known as kerion could also happen when your skin is extremely sensitive to the fungus which triggers or when this condition is left untreated for an extended period. Kerion most commonly develops on your scalp, but it can spread to other parts of the body. It tends to come with pus-filled, inflamed, and large lumps. Also, you might feel mushy and notice bald patches in the affected areas. Those bald patches could be permanent or temporary, depending on the levels of damage on your skin.
