9Icing
Another simple way to relieve pain in your heel and tendon is to apply ices to the calf. Low temperatures will constrict the blood vessels, thus reducing blood flow and alleviating inflammation. You just need to put an ice pack on the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes to get immediate results. If necessary, repeat it a few times during the day. You can also ice your injured area after an exercise to prevent pain. Keep in mind not to put ices directly on the skin. Instead, wrap them in a towel or cloth to avoid frostbites or skin irritation.
