14Breathing Problems
Breathing or respiration is mainly controlled by the autonomic nervous system. It is not usual for multiple sclerosis to affect this part, so breathing issues are also rare symptoms of this condition. Mostly, the main cause of respiratory issues is the loss of endurance and muscle strength, which leads to the weakness in the ventilatory muscles and makes it harder for you to exhale and inhale. This could be really tiring, especially for those who already suffer from a considerable amount of multiple sclerosis. [14]
