8Minimize Stress
Stress is one of those factors that lead to a headache. If you have a really terrible headache, you should take a break from all activities. Try to leave work early, leave house chores for another day or when you are relieved. If you have kids, leave them with your partner or anyone you can trust, and you would not have to worry about them. Then find a cool, calm and quiet place to sit and relax; if possible, you can lie down. At this moment, you should free your mind of all worries and thoughts. Try and picture a blank wall or anything that appears peaceful.[7]
