Chest pain, which many people often report as pain with a deep breath or lung pain, could also occur in patients with lung cancer. It can be common even in the early stages of the condition. Though there are no pain fibers in these organs, the pleura or lung lining and other structures around have many nerve endings. You should notice the exact spots where you notice the pain, such as the chest wall, metastasis, or enlarged lymph nodes.
