When cancerous cells spread to other parts of the body from your lungs, you might feel pain deep down in the joints or bones of your limbs. The most commonly affected areas include arms, hips, back, and shoulder. Lim pain is one of the earliest signs of lung cancer, along with excessive cough. A tumor in the upper areas of your lungs might trigger pain in your shoulder, often severe, which would radiate down your arm to your pinky finger. [5]
