5Use Humidifiers
If the air in your room is relatively dry, one of the best ways to go about it is by using a cool-mist humidifier or a vaporizer [3]. This humidifier can lead the air around you to moisten, thereby easing your congestion and coughs. However, while getting the humidifier, do ensure that it is completely clean. This will prevent the development of molds and bacteria. You can also humidify the air in your room by running a hot shower and letting it eventually steam up your room.
