6Adopt a Healthy Diet
Diet plays an important role in your treatment for chronic conditions. It is important to know that some foods may benefit your mental health. Therefore, try to include the following nutritious and mood-boosting foods in your diet: fatty fish, whole grains, beans, bananas, nuts, seeds, legumes, leafy veggies, and berries. You should also drink a lot of water during the day to keep the body hydrated. Ideally, a typical adult should drink at least 2 liters of fluids on a daily basis.
