5Exercise Regularly
People with chronic conditions should exercise on a regular basis. This can provide many benefits for both physical and mental health. These include improving the quality of sleep, boosting mood, alleviating stress, and reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Simple stretches and exercises can improve blood flow in the body, thus allowing other parts to get more oxygen. Working out also encourages the body to release more hormones that make you feel happy and relaxed. You do not have to go to the gym for workouts. Instead, try to move the body and do your favorite activities. From walking and running to yoga and other forms of activities, aim to do exercises at least 30 to 60 minutes a day. [6]
