5Standing Lumbar Flexion
Standing lumbar flexion can be done on a daily basis as a part of treatment for spinal stenosis. To begin with, you need to stand with both feet apart. Bend the body forward slowly until you reach the ground. Stay in this position for at least 2 seconds before slowly returning to the standing position. Repeat the exercises for at least 10 times. Standing lumbar flexion can be effective in alleviating leg and back pain, which can be felt during a walk. Whenever you have increased leg tingling or back pain, just bend forward in several reps to relieve it. [5]
