Low-Vitamin D Diet
Since people with Williams syndrome tend to have higher levels of blood calcium than others, a special diet that is low in calcium and vitamin D is necessary to alleviate symptoms. It often takes at least 1 year to stabilize calcium levels. You should also avoid taking vitamin D supplements during this time. Some other medications can be combined to speed up the process. However, make sure to consult your doctor carefully before proceeding. [11]
