Collarbone pain can be a sign of cancer. It indicates that cancer cells have spread to your bone or involved nearby lymph nodes. In these cases, you might notice swelling in your nodes around the body, such as in your neck, near your groin, or above your collarbone. Neuroblastoma is a common cause of collarbone pain. It can affect young children as well. Typical symptoms include pain, diarrhea, high blood pressure, fever, sweating, and rapid heartbeat. Surgery or radiation therapy can be used for treating tumors growing in the arm, shoulder, or collarbone. This depends on the underlying cause and stage. [6]
