8What Does a Nocturnal Seizure Feel Like?
A nocturnal seizure typically happens right after you fall asleep, before you wake up, or after you wake up. It would lead to abnormal behaviors, such as shouting, crying out, sudden rigidity, jerking, twitching, or tongue biting. If you stay asleep during a nocturnal seizure, perhaps you will not feel anything. However, it would feel like you have recurring nightmares. Not everyone with this type of seizures realize the presence of an attack. In many cases, the only sign is a bruise or a headache when waking. This also may affect people’s learning, attention, behavior and more aspect of life. [8]
