9Treatments of Vertigo
Antibiotics
One of the causes of vertigo highlighted above is labyrinthitis, and this condition is caused by a viral infection in the ear. But in rare cases, labyrinthitis can be caused by a bacterial infection, and in such cases, antibiotics have been proved to be effective. Antibiotics work by preventing bacteria from reproducing and spreading. These drugs can be taken orally or injected. Although they come with their minor side effects, they are however effective. Likewise, some people are allergic to antibiotics, therefore if you notice you are reacting to this drug negatively, discontinue the usage. Antibiotics might not be effective in treating vertigo that is as a result of labyrinthitis caused by a viral infection.
