Unisom and Vitamin B-6 for Morning Sickness: Are They Safe?

6How to Take Unisom and Vitamin B6 for Morning Sickness

You should first try some lifestyle and dietary changes to manage the symptoms of morning sickness. If these options are not effective, go for vitamin B6. If it also does not work, it’s time to try Unisom or a combination of Unisom and vitamin B6. You may take these medications separately or in combination. To treat morning sickness, the recommended dosages are as follows:

– 25 milligrams of Unisom at night

– 10 to 25 milligrams of vitamin B6 every eight hours

For the combination (Diclegis), you should take 2 tablets before sleep time on a daily basis. If it does not work, take one extra tablet in the morning and perhaps another one in the middle of the afternoon. [6]
