The US Foods and Drugs Administration has approved the use of Diclegis for treating vomiting and nausea in pregnant women. This prescription medication is a combination of vitamin B6 and Unisom. In fact, it is currently the only treatment approved for morning sickness. Many studies have proved the safety of this treatment. Scientists find no association with congenital disabilities. In other words, pregnant women may safely take Unisom and vitamin B6 without worrying about any harmful effects on their babies. [5]
