15Ice Packs
Ice packs can be a simple yet effective treatment option for inflammation and discomfort caused by tennis elbow. You could buy a gel-filled ice pack or find a bag of frozen corn or peas in the freezer. Place it in the affected area for 10 to 20 minutes. Do this around 2 to 3 times each day after every 4 hours to get the best results. Ice would help alleviate the muscle and tendon inflammation, thus reducing the pain that you are feeling. Keep in mind to cover the ice packs with a cloth to prevent the freezing cold from burning or irritating the skin. [15]
