If the illness isn’t diagnosed early and medication administered, the individual or the child with measles may experience seizures at a more advanced stage. The individual may experience unconsciousness accompanied by shaking movements in some parts of the body and also a subtle loss of awareness if the illness gets to an advanced stage. The episodes of losing consciousness may last for several minutes but eventually fades away, but the individual may take some minutes to get back to a healthy state. It is an indication that measles is at an advanced level where medical attention is necessary, but if the diagnosis is made early enough, an individual can’t get to this stage before healing. [9]
