5Social Communication Disorder Versus ADHD

In certain circumstances, social communication disorder would be diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. While the latter would result in several communication problems, the causes and effects are actually different. People with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder may show the following signs in social conversations:

– Inability to focus on someone who is talking to them

– Excessive talking

– Disrupting other people who are talking to them

– Interrupt other people’s conversations

– Difficulty waiting for their turn to talk in a conversation [5]
