14Drink Plenty of Fluids
Frequent urination is a major health risk of prediabetes. Thus, it is important to consume sufficient water. Aim for at least 2 liters of fluids on a daily basis. Water does not only help with flushing out toxins and aiding indigestion, but it also contains no sugar. Thus, replace sugary beverages with fresh water can be a simple yet effective way to help you control prediabetes. In addition, drinking water will keep you always full, which eventually reduces the intake of sugary foods. [14]
