8When to Visit a Doctor
Most common symptoms of Crohn’s disease, such as fatigue, stomach pain, or diarrhea, are not fatal. However, if they persist and worsen, talk with your doctor to get proper treatments. Set up an appointment when you have any of the following symptoms: bleeding in the rectum, vomiting, nausea, constipation, and bloody or dark stool. The following complications of Crohn’s disease require emergency attention: confusion, high fever, loud sounds in the abdomen, serious abdominal pain, and leaking feces, gas, and urine from the vagina.
