Ginger is an effective natural remedy for symptoms of indigestion. It contains some components that can decrease stomach acid, the main trigger of indigestion. Whenever you feel discomfort, try to sip a cup of ginger tea to soothe the stomach. Some alternatives include drinking ginger ale, making ginger water, or sucking on ginger candy. You can boil water and put several pieces of ginger root. Add honey or lemon if necessary to add flavor before drinking to deal with indigestion.
