8Placenta Accreta
Placenta accreta occurs during pregnancy when the placenta spreads too deeply in the uterine wall. It usually does not cause any symptoms, but can also be very serious. In some cases, this would be a major risk for birth defects. A hysterectomy might be needed when the placenta separates and leads to a major blood loss in the body. The form used for this treatment is called a cesarean hysterectomy. It can help prevent possibly fatal conditions. You would also need hospitalization in a couple of days to recover fully. [8]
