7Pigeon Stretch
Pigeon stretch is a great yoga exercise. Many physical therapists and orthopedic doctors recommend it to alleviate discomfort and pain in people with hip bursitis. The stretch can open up your hips and have gentle effects on this area. Start with bending the left knee in front of the body and extend out the right leg behind you. Pull in the left heel to the right hip. Next, point the right hip downward. Now you can feel this part starting to open. Put both hands on the left high and stay in this position.
