Some behavior and personality changes can be noticed in many people with frontotemporal dementia. The damages to their nervous system lead to some unusual activities. These include impulsive, inappropriate, or unsympathetic act, selfishness, personal hygiene neglection, overreaction, loss of motivation, rude, insensitivity, loss of inhibition, as well as repetitive routines and behaviors, such as foot-tapping, hand-rubbing, and humming. When the condition progresses, those people with frontotemporal dementia would be withdrawn and socially isolated. Therefore, caregivers and family members should notice these symptoms to provide the best caring. [5]
