While there is only 1 kind of mite causing scabies. This condition might be divided into several types.
– Typical scabies is the most common form. It triggers itchy rashes on your wrists or hands, but not the face or scalp.
– Nodular scabies might display as raised, itchy bumps, particularly in the groin, armpits, or genital areas.
– Norwegian scabies, also known as crusted scabies, is a more contagious and severe form of scabies. People with this condition often have thousands of eggs and mites on the skin. [8]
