7Physical Therapy
When shoulder pain becomes chronic and recurs, physical therapy may be needed to help you rehabilitate. This process should be guided by a trained therapist who shows you tailored and specific stretches and exercises to improve the strength of the shoulder. You may need to visit the therapist a few times a week for at least 4 to 8 weeks until chronic shoulder issues start to improve. Some suitable exercises for strengthening the shoulder include rowing, swimming, pullups, and pushups. However, make sure to let the injury recover first before starting physical therapy.
