8Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is effective in regaining mobility and strength after a shoulder dislocation. You will learn some range-of-motion exercises that can stretch the shoulder, wrist, hand, and elbow gently. This will strengthen muscle groups that keep the shoulder in place and compensate for damaged tissues or ligaments from an injury. As a result, you can reduce the risk of further dislocation in the future. Make sure to find a licensed physical therapist and follow the instructions to speed up healing. [8]
