15Medications
Many medications are available to treat burning feet. In most cases, your doctor will prescribe drugs to manage the medical condition that causes your pain. Amitriptyline can be used to deal with neuropathy, one of the most common causes of burning feet. The recommended dosage is around 25 mg per day, which should be taken before sleeping. A sedative called pregabalin can also be used to deal with diabetes and burning sensations. In some cases, your doctor might recommend a combination of some medications, such as tramadol, venlafaxine, or TCA. This would offer better results than a single drug alone. [15]
