7Sleep in an Inclined Position
This remedy is also suitable for indigestion. When you lay down to sleep, stomach acid can easily escape from the stomach to the esophagus. However, if you remain in a standing position or when you move around, it becomes less likely for stomach acid to flow up to the esophagus. Since you cannot always be in a standing position, you should put yourself in an inclined position whenever you sleep; this should also make it less likely for stomach acid to backwash into the esophagus.[6]
