9Mental Confusion/Vascular Dementia

This is one hell of a symptom associated with stroke. When you are suffering from stroke, mental alertness becomes impossible because the brain which is in charge of coordinating mental alertness has been tampered with. Also known as vascular dementia, the cognitive functions are affected, and you will not be able to think straight and process information because blood no longer reaches that part of the brain that coordinates language and thinking abilities. This causes memory loss, confusion and a big problem in performing everyday activities. [8]
