10Drink Water Upside Down
While there is no official study proving this, drinking water upside down from the other side of the cup would help with hiccups. The main reason is that it can change the breathing pattern. Firstly, add water to a half-full of a cup, then hold the further edge against your upper lip’s bottom. Keep the upper lip at the exterior tip of the cup by bending forward. Keep this posture and slowly drink water. Make sure the liquid runs over your moth’s upper palate. An alternative option is to live off the upside-down of the couch or bed and drink carefully to have the same effects. Stop doing it once hiccups disappear. During this process, be careful or you might accidentally breathe in the liquid or pour it to your noses. [10]
