5Eye Problems
Psoriatic arthritis is also associated with eye problems or eye inflammation. With this disease, you tend to experience different types of eye problems like eye dryness, eye pain, and conjunctivitis (pink eye). These eye problems are very common in patients with psoriatic arthritis.
However, there is a less common eye problem associated with a psoriatic disease called intraocular inflammation. This eye problem is a severe one and can lead to loss of vision if not quickly treated.
The eye problems associated with psoriatic arthritis are as a result of the skin flare-ups around the eyes, caused by psoriasis. [6]
