Most narcissists don’t really empathize with other people. They tend to be self-involved, selfish, and unable to understand what others are feeling. Instead, people with narcissism often expect their friends to feel and think in the same way as they do instead of giving any thought to how they feel. As a result, these people are rarely guilty, remorseful, or apologetic. Keep in mind that they are highly attuned to some perceived anger or threats. However, they tend to be biased or misread some facial expressions to conceal their true emotions. [6]
