8Eye Issues
Vasculitis may affect small blood vessels in the eyes. This results in retinal issues, conjunctivitis, inflammation in the eye’s chambers, and sclera’s thinning. The blood vessels leading to the eyes can also be inflamed, which would cause an unexpected vision loss. In some mild cases, your eyes can become burning, itchy, or look red. Other common eye issues in people with vasculitis include temporary blindness or double vision, which can affect one or both eyes. In some cases, these can be the first symptom of the condition.
