5Tenderness
Many people with thrombosis tend to notice tenderness in the affected leg. This is often followed by pain or a cramp. Since tenderness is not uncommon, it can be hard to diagnose thrombosis. You may keep a log of the exact time when you notice tenderness or pain to rule out other possible causes, especially an injury. Also, notice whether the sensation occurs after or during exercise or happens when you just sit down or walk. In some cases, walking or standing might also trigger the symptom. While it only starts in the affected area, tenderness would radiate to surrounding parts and make you feel uncomfortable. [7]
