7Exercise Regularly
Aim to do moderate to intense exercises at least 30 to 60 minutes per day to sleep better and get more REM sleep. In general, physical activities may improve blood flow in the body, thus allowing more oxygen and nutrients to different parts. Working out also stimulates the body to release more endorphin, which makes you feel relaxed, and melatonin, also known as the sleep hormone. Ideally, you should work out in the morning. Avoid intense physical activities at night, especially before sleep time, as they would be overstimulating and make it harder to fall asleep. [8]
