The recommended dosage of Sertraline can vary, depending on the mental issue you are treating:

– Obsessive compulsive disorder: Starting with 25 milligrams a day for people between 6 and 12 years old and 50 milligrams a day for people over 13 years old. Maximum dosage is 200 milligrams a day.

– Premenstrual dysphoric disorder: For intermittent dosing, starting dose is 50 milligrams per day and maximum dosage is 100 milligrams a day. For continuous dosing, starting dose is 50 milligrams per day and maximum dosage is 150 milligrams a day

– Post-traumatic stress disorder: Starting with 25 milligrams a day. Maximum dosage is 200 milligrams a day.

– Social anxiety disorder: Starting with 25 milligrams a day. Maximum dosage is 200 milligrams a day.

– Panic disorder: Starting with 25 milligrams a day. Maximum dosage is 200 milligrams a day.

– Major depressive disorder: Starting with 50 milligrams a day. Maximum dosage is 200 milligrams a day. [6]
