To treat depression, you should take Rexulti one time per day, typically with another medication. Your healthcare provider tends to suggest a low dose and monitor how your body responds. After several weeks, the dosage may be increased gradually. The maximum dosage should be 3 milligrams per day.
To treat schizophrenia, a low dosage of Rexulti should be taken one time per day from day 1 to day 4 of treatment. From day 5 onwards, the dosage may be increased. The maximum dosage should be 4 milligrams per day. [6]
