There is currently no standard premium per month for Medicare Part D. The firm providing the service will determine this amount. As with part B, you need to pay the standard premium, along with a surcharge based on your income level. The estimated amount is as follow:

– Individual income less than $91,000 and couple income less than $182,000: your plan premium

– Individual income from $91,000 to $114,000 and couple income from $182,000 to $228,000: plan premium plus $12.4

– Individual income from $114,000 to $142,000 and couple income from $228,000 to $284,000: plan premium plus $32.1

– Individual income from $142,000 to $170,000 and couple income from $284,000 to $340,000: plan premium plus $51.7

– Individual income from $170,000 to $500,000 and couple income from $340,000 to $750,000: plan premium plus $71.3

– Individual income more than $500,000 and couple income more than $750,000: plan premium plus $77.9 [6]
