Humira may cause some common side effects, such as irritation, stomach pain, nausea, headache, back pain, and other symptoms of a common cold. Most of these problems tend to disappear quickly. But if they persist or worsen, make sure to tell your doctor. In certain circumstances, more side effects may happen. These include urinary tract infection (painful urination, urgent urination, pain in the lower belly, blood in the urine, fever), allergic reaction (itching, wheezing, rash, hives, peeling skin, swallowing or breathing difficulty, and swelling in the lips, mouth, face, or tongue), lupus (cheek rash, joint pain, muscle pain, swollen legs or arms), high blood pressure (fainting, vision change, headache, dizziness), liver issues.
