There are a number of side effects associated with usage Larotrectinib. These side effects can be effectively managed, given the right amount of attention. Some of them are discussed shortly:

1. While you take the medication, you would like to avoid driving or operating complex machines. This is because of the neurotoxic effects of larotrectinib. It may bring about difficulty in speech, unstable gait and dizziness, amongst other things.

2. Use of the drug may lead to liver toxicity. This can manifest in the yellowing of the eyes and skin. Other symptoms which point to this include abdominal pain and dark-colored urine.

3. Signs of anemia may result, i.e. low red blood cell count.

4. Fatigue, nausea and constipation.

There are several ways of reversing these effects; you should discuss your symptoms with your oncology team.
