The poodle is one of the most popular dog breeds. They are very smart, making it easy for seniors to train. You can choose from three sizes: large standard, small miniature, and tiny toy. In general, poodles are affectionate and loyal pets. They can get on well and learn quickly. They just need basic walks on a daily basis. Caring is easy as you only need to have them groomed professionally once or twice per month. [10]
French Bulldog
Life expectancy: 10 – 12 years

The French bulldogs are always happy and cheerful, making it nearly impossible to be miserable around them. In addition, this dog breed is very active, muscular, and compact. Despite their relatively heavy bodies, these animals can be managed easily. They can be very active and energetic, but sometime lack endurance. Therefore, moderate exercises on a daily basis are enough for them. [11]
