6Heal Wound
Chamomile tea has been long used by Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans to speed up healing and treat injuries. This is because there are a lot of antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory components in the drink. Those substances would kill bacteria and viruses, thus preventing the risks of an infection in the wounds. In addition, the tea can suppress the development of ulcers and get rid of Staphylococcus aureus, which is the main trigger of staph infections. Some studies even show that chamomile tea can be more effective than corticosteroids in healing wounds. [6]
