9Water
Strep throat comes with a challenging sore throat that is all swollen, tender and red. These symptoms make it very difficult to be able to swallow any food substance. Hence, you have to find a way of lubricating your throat to aid swallowing. One of such ways is water consumption. When you notice you have a strep throat, you should consume water more often than before to prevent dehydration. The water can be of any degree of temperature, either cold or warm. Consume warm liquids like broth, caffeine-free tea or warm water with honey (honey is also a soothing agent). You can also have a cold treat of ice pops and frozen yogurt.
